Ian started to work in tax in 1985 having initially been trained by what was then the Inland Revenue. After 5 years he moved into the accounting profession, first working for a small local accounting practice before moving to a large 'top 10' practice in London where he had exposure to working with high net wealth individuals. Ian continued his career in the tax department of a medium-sized London practice until he set up Havard and Associates in 1998. Having gained 13 years of training and experience with the government, small, medium and large accounting practices, Ian is well placed to advise at practically any level and this is reflected in the client base of the firm which includes small one-man setups to larger concerns turning over in excess of £1,000,000 pa.
As Havard and Associates has now been running for 23 years, Ian has over 36 years of experience in accountancy and tax.
